The link below is to the DHS CRIMS background check flyer. This background check document is used for criminal background checks for jobs at Senior Living Communities and places providing direct care to children and/or seniors over 65 years old. This document may bring bad news for many folks if they find that they have a charge on the list that makes them unemployable at a senior living community. However, I find that knowing where you cannot get a job is often as helpful as knowing where you can get hired. Knowing that certain jobs are not an option for you because of certain charges in your past will save you time and rejections.
