Participation in another public assistance program such as S.N.A.P, TANF, OHP, etc. is required to verify each applicant’s financial need for the free telephone. The telephone usually has unlimited text ability but not unlimited talking minutes. The telephone is great to utilize when looking for housing and looking for a job.

The link below takes you to a .pdf form that lists all of the charges that makes a person ineligible to work at businesses that provide direct care to people of 65 years old and/or under 18 years old, people with developmental disabilities, also referred to as vulnerable populations. This is worth downloading and reading carefully because this background check applies to all Senior Living Community jobs and many Healthcare Industry jobs, which make up large part of the job market in many parts of Oregon.

Federal Bonding Program–
A Federal Bond offered to employers to hire a non-bondable individual.
Federal Bonding can cover job applicants denied (or potentially denied) commercial bonding due to:
- Arrest, conviction or imprisonment
- Alcohol or drug abuse
- Poor credit history
- No employment history
- Dishonorable discharge from the military
- Any other reason that make the job seeker “not bondable”
