Obama Telephone-application

The link below leads to the application for a free “Lifeline” cellular telephone.  Participation in another public assistance program such as S.N.A.P, TANF, OHP, etc. is required to verify each applicant’s financial need for the free telephone.  The telephone usually has unlimited text ability but not unlimited talking minutes.  The telephone is great to utilize when looking for housing and looking for a job.

Oregon DHS CRIMS Background CheckCriminal Charges List

The link below takes you to a .pdf form that lists all of the charges that makes a person ineligible to work at businesses that provide direct care to people of 65 years old and/or under 18 years old, people with developmental disabilities, also referred to as vulnerable populations.  This is worth downloading and reading carefully because this background check applies to all Senior Living Community jobs and many Healthcare Industry jobs, which make up large part of the job market in many parts of Oregon.
